What can we say about this little man! His mommy and grandmother suffered a tremendous loss when their "Kaiser Wilhelm" passed away. We assured them that we had the PERFECT little man to fill that immense void. Prior to Bismarck leaving us, his new mom and grandmother made a trip down to Raleigh to see our operation and visit the litter and see this little spitfire in action. Like us, they were immediately smitten (as Bismarck was with them) and they knew that they had made the right decision. Bismarck was (and still is) a very bright spot in the eye of Branford's Webmaster. This little guy was his shadow from almost the day he was whelped to the day he left.... and this is a constant source of ribbing between Branford and his very loving, new family. Branford always does it's best to stay in contact with all of its family.... but Anna Masson is AWESOME! She keeps us posted on almost a weekly basis. Even though we still consider him "our boy" (we always are the first parents for our babies!!) we know and are completely assured that this guy is NUMBER ONE in his new household... and he gets plenty of love, caring and attention from his new mom and grandma!
 

Bismarck receiving attention is not an issue at the Masson house. From Branford's weekly updates, we've learned that Irene is just like most grandmas (if you ever meet Irene, you'd say "BIG SURPRISE THERE!!"), she spoils Bismarck rotten! But then again, how can you contain yourself when you're dealing with such a little sweetheart and gentleman of a dog! Not only sweet and gentle, but super-intelligent and fearless too! Bismarck continually "wows" everyone.... from learning to go up and down stairs at 9 weeks, to letting you know he needs to go out by going and getting his leash or pulling on your sleeves, to waiting to be told it's okay to eat his meals! He's truly a charmer.
