In Memory of Brandi Albaugh

November 1988 - December 1998

Not everyone has a Miniature Schnauzer. That is not to say that people do not love their dogs or consider them as a vital member of the family as we at Branford do. Prior to December of 1998, Sherry and Dwight Albaugh contacted us for assistance with their beloved Bassett Hound Brandi who was ailing. What evolved from that first e-mail and the countless others that followed is an undying friendship, filled with a lot of crying, smiling, laughing and reminiscing.

The loss of Brandi can never be measured. Not only to the Albaughs and all of their friends and family... but to all of us at Branford as well. Dwight and Sherry are very special people to us. Rarely do visitors to our site open up to us to the degree that the Albaugh's did, and on such a personal matter. We were all so moved by their love and compassion for their Brandi that we felt as if we knew her personally.

We know that Brandi is with her orange blanket right now, watching over Dwight, Sherry and their daughter, Anna. She will live on forever in spirit and always have a place in all hearts that she touched. An essential member of the family who was the epitome of love and patience her entire life.
