Animal Eye Care is a full service veterinary ophthalmology referral practice. Our goal is to not only provide the highest quality medical and surgical care possible, but also to be a referral center that is easy for veterinarians and clients to use.
About our
Hospital ...
We are a veterinary referral hospital
offering advanced treatment of eye diseases in pets. Your veterinarian
has determined that your pet may benefit from an evaluation at our hospital.
Because of the need for specialized equipment and advanced training, the
cost of our services is likely to be higher than your local veterinarian.
Our Philosophy
...
At Animal Eye Care, we understand
that when pet owners are referred to a specialist, they expect the same
friendly and efficient care they receive from their veterinarian. To help
provide better care for your pet, we offer:
|
|
Animal Eye Care

About Dr.
English ...
Dr. English received his DVM from
the University of Illinois. He completed an internship at North Carolina
State University in 1985, and then entered general practice. He returned
to NCSU as a resident in ophthalmology and after successfully completing
his board exams in 1989 became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary
Ophthalmologists.
To better understand the pathogenesis
of inflammatory ocular disorders and help develop new ocular therapeutics,
Dr. English completed a doctoral program at NCSU. His research focused
on investigating the pathogenesis of feline immunodeficiency virus and
helped pioneer studies into the mechanisms by which FIV and other viruses
cause ocular and neuroligical disease.

completed advanced training in internal medicine and surgery as an intern
