Unique Opportunity - Diving with Cousteau
Imagine spending a week with Jean-Michel Cousteau, son of Jacques and a world-renowned underwater explorer himself. Perhaps you'll help him film what will become a television special on the marine life of the Cayman or Galapagos Islands. For the second year, Aggressor Fleet Ltd. will host the L'Aventure Jean-Michel Cousteau series aboard its luxury dive yachts at nine locations worldwide, including Micronesia, Hawaii, and Belize. Adventurers have their choice of four programs: Sail with Jean-Michel Cousteau; Jean-Michel Cousteau Team/Nikonos Adventures; Project Ocean Search; and Jean-Michel Cousteau Film Expeditions. Sail with Jean-Michel Cousteau is a chance for guests to dive and talk with Cousteau at length. Divers participating in the Cousteau Team/Nikonos Adventures will learn the secrets of underwater photography from Cousteau's professional photographers. State-of-the-art Nikonos photographic gear will be provided, compliments of Nikon. Project Ocean Search is a field study program designed for those who want an in-depth understanding of the sea and its inhabitants. Daily diving is combined with discussions with Cousteau, prominent scientists, and photographers.

Those who sign up for the film expeditions will help put together an underwater film, working alongside cinematographers, sound engineers, and divers.

Prices for the six-to 10-day charters range from $1,995 to $4,195, inclusive.
