She is the best thing that ever came into our house! She just recently had to have four teeth pulled, and two of them were her front teeth, she recovered, make sure you take really good care of your dogs teeth! We do brush her but they still got bad. I felt so bad, thinking we weren't taking good enough care of them, but the vet said it wasn't our fault. We love her so much she's more of a part of our family then some of our human family, she is so spoiled! But we love her and wouldn't give her up for anything! |

We have taped them as the breeder instructed, but unfortunately they want to lay on top of her head even with the tape on them. We didn't have to even tape our first puppy's ears as they just naturally stood up. If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate the advice. |

Sabrina lived to 13 and Rommel made it to 17 even though he didn't know he was still alive, bumping into things. But never remember the times when they had trouble, remember the lively wonderful friends they are and how loyal they are. I loved taking care of Rommel the year before he passed. I would be interested in documented information on any known health problems pertaining to white. White schnauzers are shown world wide. They have the same IQ, coat, eyes, etc. that colored dogs have. White has always been in the breed & I don't understand all the current activity to ban them. Recessives are forever. White schnauzers have the same genetics as white poodles, maltese, etc. I am a groomer of over 20 years & have seen many whites. I've never seen a blind one. I have seen many blind colored ones. In the winter I don't get him clipped, just bathe him every couple of weeks. He always had the little sebacious "bumps" but now has quarter size places that are hard and crusty and have to be peeled off. The vet says to use medicated shampoo, but I'm wondering if adding anything to his diet would help. He used to eat Iam's lamb and rice formula, and now eats Purina One lamb and rice. Could it be the change in food? Help!! |

Schnauzer since my mother recently rescued one from the Human Society. This 10 year old dog has since undergone dental surgery & has had to be spayed due to some problems that she had had. It's a shame that such a sweet dog has had such a hard life. The vet has concluded d that this dog was probably used for breeding & discarded when she could no longer have puppies. We are not sure if she was dumped off at the human society or whether she was found wondering the streets. However, this dog has brought joy to my mother's life - replacing her loyal Tibet Terrier who passed away in December. I'd like to pay for my mother to join your club so that she can learn more about this breed. Can you give me more info. as to where to send the application/$$? Thanks. Naomi Katsumi |
