WELL THE SCHNAUZERS LOVE FOR ME TO BLOW THEM BUBBLES. ON SATURDAY MORNINGS WE GO TO MCDONALDS FOR HASH BROWNS AND SOME FRIDAY NIGHTS IT IS THE KRYSTAL FOR WAFFLE FRIES AND OF COURSE JUST SAY BYE BYE AND THEY ARE READY. My current "babies" are Maverick (3 years) and Rudy (1 1/2 years) We run a dog walking business in Toronto (60+ dogs each day) and the "boys" get to hop a ride on the pooch taxi for about 4 hours every day. I reviewed your section on vaccinations and I'm quite interested in hearing if you have every encountered a schnauzer that has had an adverse reaction to a distemper vaccination. Our schnauzer,Schnapps, almost died last February after the shot was administered. He experienced a severe skin rash accompanied by edema. He was treated with steriods for two months and thankfully pulled through. For the past two years he developed just a rash after receiving the vaccination which we attributed to allergies. It was just this last shot that almost did him. Please let me know if you have every heard of this. |
